AMONG US

On View, February 7th - 28th Opening Reception, February 7th, 6 - 10pm

Among Us imagines a queer future infused with legacies of lesbian feminist culture. A world of too many genders to count or name; a world with difficult, complicated feelings, long conversations, lumpy fruits, and sexually uninhibited fungi. A community that mushroomed from the remains of dyke bars and lesbian feminist communes and blossomed as a refuge for its inhabitants and visitors and their messy, feminist feelings. A community whose members are forever processing, unpacking, and metabolizing it. The queer plants and fungi who inhabit Among Us invite viewers into their world of expansive, explosive gender and sexuality.
