The two protagonists, played by Angie Melchin and Kristen Mills, perform as characters living in a spacecraft where they act out seemingly innocuous scenarios. Positioning themselves as average and unexceptional, the duo equally and eagerly grapple with gender and class issues along with other socio-cultural tendencies. In their roles, they assert to transcend stereotypes while overtly falling into them. Their acts can be read as silly or heavy handed, while generously subverting larger looming issues. Please stay tuned for Sister Spaceship does Antiques Road Show, where the public will be invited to bring objects to the gallery, to be appraised by Sister Spaceship and their staff!
