KATHRYN SCLAVI & PRACTICE invite you to a fantasy sleepover party.
During the month of October, PRACTICE will be transformed into a hand sewn fort installation reminiscent of a youthful sleepover gathering. Throughout the month, the exhibit will host sleepover parties and events, inviting women to come together, share space, and conjure up nostalgia of youthful camaraderie. For many women, female friendships from childhood hold an intensity rarely recreated in adult life. As we grow older, busier in our lives, sleepover parties give way to our careers, our lives, and our relationships. Forever sleepover is intended to re-invent the space of confidential female relationships, a place to be a girl with your girls, when you could sleepover forever.\Programming for Forever Sleepover
